Sabes que não estás em casa quando…

- Falas constantemente em Português com os amigos que só falam Alemão ou Inglês… e falas Inglês com o marido Tuga…
- Ficas com a cabeça cheia das músicas alemãs que ouves nas lojas (e ainda Abba e…versões Suíças do Michael Jackson)…
- Dizes “Boa Noite a todos” no curso de Alto-Alemão e repetes “Ah desculpe lá” no supermercado…
- Sorris sempre que te dizem a conta, e pagas sempre com a maior nota que tens na carteira, porque na verdade nunca percebes os malditos números…
- 99% do teu vocabulário em Alemão refere-se a várias maneiras de pedir um café forte…
- Habituas-te a almoçar às 11 da manhã e a considerar salada o prato principal…
- Não atendes o telefone se o número for Suíço, porque não vais perceber nada de qualquer forma…
- Chamas Euros e Cêntimos aos Francos Suíços, desistes de fazer a conversão… e desistes de ir ás compras…
- Andas sempre com o chapéu de chuva na mala e consideras normal usá-lo todos os dias…
- As contas são todas pagas nos correios, mas nunca te lembras de levar o raio da carta…
- No teu bar favorito quando a empregada fala contigo acenas e sorris, acenas e sorris, acenas e sorris ( a miúda ainda não percebeu que não percebes patavina e não queres ser indelicada)…
- Esperas uma hora para estacionar no teu parque privado que foi ocupado por um pintas porque sabes lá falar com o polícia…
- Aprendes que Hallo é um cumprimento universal e passas a delirar com a palavra utilizando-a sempre, com toda a gente e em qualquer situação…

And now the same but diferent...

- You speak constantly in Portuguese with friends who only speak German or English ... and speak English with your Portuguese husband ...

- Your head is full of German music you hear in stores (and Abba ... and Swiss versions of Michael Jackson) ...

- You say "Good Night to all" in the course of High German and repeating "Oh sorry there" in the supermarket … but all in portuguese ...
