Addicted to stupid stuff, part 2 - In search of the lost connection ...
Some time ago I posted here my adventures of shopping without breaking the budget, the savings and the money in the piggy bank ... and try to be at least a little fashion (something almost impossible with so many neutrals colors of the Swiss boutiques... they are really neutral here LOLLOLLOL ... ... is not my best joke but that's okay I laughed myself...) I told you that to balance the refrigerator and buy a new bag I had to travel to Austria ...
Traveling?? This is now a thing of the past!! Well my friends I decided that after a few hours (or perhaps days ...) on the Internet I can buy almost anything more cheaper and without trouble! Wonderful, is not? I have ordered a little bag of Little Red Riding Hood - on sale - and a dress just like one of the girls of Gossip Girl - only far bigger, I truly believe that the girls should not eat for two years or more…Poor little fashion girls - and boom ... it's fast, paid in Euros and the best is that are half (yes half) of the price here!
Well now I will explain my reference to the movie title ... here when it's windy with rain the internet will go off to her secret little life (I've been suspicious that the Internet go and eat some seafood on a terrace facing the sea ... the stupid thing!) Now this was O.K if it happens only once in a while ... the problem is that in the summer ... yes ... in the summer in Switzerland it rains more and in the end of the day we are presented with real storms of wind and rain (did I mention that the summer is when most rain?) Well then the tragedy: I come home from the MecMec burst of desire to see the people on the net and some photos of friends on the beach (the lucky friends that live in summer… real summer), I want to talk on Skype with my mother and brother, and take the opportunity to update my Mangás and see what is new in bags ... and then the connection dies! Our net here at home, is powerful and soooo expensive, but of course with wind and rain ... doesn’t resist! Believe it me: burn the off button on the unit 20 times does not result… restart the computer 40 times ... does not result…could the mountains bad names in at least 4 languages does not results ... Have I told you that in the summer rain more than any other time in Switzerland?

Pedala Sarita... pedala...

Sarita pedal ... pedal ...
And yes, now I can say with all certainty that I'm integrating my new life in this country of rules, private banks and bunkers ...
I don’t have an account with lots of money, I was not acting by all rules of the civil code, but my friends, I am finally realizing that communion with nature is not just a beautiful concept, but is in fact a real way of life!
My sweet husband bought me a bike (okay it's not pink, nor has a basket with flowers as much as I wanted ... but it is beautiful anyway, and I have a white helmet to make me safe) so... I went riding!
Now my girls friends (girls only ,because they really understand ... I'm sorry boys) just imagine the time it took to find a model that favors me with the white helmet!! It is that besides being a huge thing, aerodynamics and white we also have to consider the heat (and sweat), flies to get smacked, and anti-pain shorts to my boom-boom (back side, you know what I mean) ... those who I swear by God does not look good on anyone!
The solution was to dress me as if to Melides beach in August and add leggins and pray to never, never, never anyone would put my picture on facebook!
At the end of the day, after cycling for two countries (really, really another country is only... 2 km away… so it’s not a big deal) the pains in my legs and ass are so much that I'm not much for making a pose!
Exclusively for posterity here's my outfit: bicycle and white helmet … I’m doing very charming! ...

- Não me sinto em casa quando a linha do horizonte fica a um palmo da cara;
- Não me sinto em casa quando em Junho toda a gente anda de casaco quente e cachecol;
- Não me sinto em casa quando pago pela pizza o equivalente a um jantar de marisco;
- Não me sinto em casa quando os meus colegas acham que senhorita é uma palavra muito comum em Portugal;

The strange sensation of not feeling ...

- I do not feel at home when the horizon is a few inches of the face;
- I do not feel at home in June when everyone wears warm coat and scarf;
- I do not feel at home when for the pizza I paid the equivalent of a seafood dinner;
- I do not feel at home when all my colleagues thinks’ that Senhorita is a very common word in Portugal;
- I do not feel at home when I'm not going to the doctor because I cannot say I have a brutal pain in my ear!
- I do not feel at home when, after months of hard work in the German grammar I finally realize that there are no rules or logic... and my whole vocabulary has increased from a little bit to a little bit more!
- The truth is that some days I am not!
